Editor Role Overview

Editors (previously called Users) can create and edit pages which are the core of every Tettra account. They can also invite users to Tettra similar to the Admin role.


The Editor role is available on all our plans. However, the level of accessibility may differ for each plan. Learn more about our plans here.


All user types (regardless of role) will be considered in your account's overall user count.


The Editor has access to limited team settings:

Here is a detailed list of what Editors can do:

  • Can edit billing information (but they can view billing information)
  • Can subscribe if necessary (but can not cancel subscription)
  • Can view and invite users (but not deactivate users)
  • Can assign guest users to categories (but not change user types)
  • Can manage all content, but cannot pin pages to or edit the Team Home
  • Can delete their own comments but not others' comments
  • Have all permissions for questions, but can only delete their own questions and answers (not others')
  • Can change category permissions (but cannot lock pages)
  • Can edit content in External Sites categories, but cannot create or edit their settings
  • Have all permissions to Page Requests and Update Requests
