Slack Shortcuts: Slash Commands

Slash commands are shortcuts you can type into the Slack message input box to perform an action. 


Tettra's AI features are only available on our Scaling and Professional plans. Learn how to turn on AI in our article Enabling Tettra's AI Features.


Step 1: Slash command

Type /tettra  in any Slack channel, followed by the keyword you want to search.

Step 2: Choose a page

A list of matching Tettra pages will show up, visible only to you.

Step 3:

Click Share with channel to share that page to everyone in the current channel.

Team members can click on the page title to go straight to that page in Tettra.

All commands

There are five Tettra slash commands that you can use within your Slack channels or DMs.

Searching for pages, questions, and external docs

 Type  /tettra {query} to search your wiki

Creating a new draft of a page

 Type  /tettra new {title} to create a new page

Create a new request

 Type  /tettra request {title} to request a page

Create a request assigned to a user


 Type  /tettra request @{name} {title} to request a page from a user

Help

 Type  /tettra help to view the help message with available commands
