Convert Slack threads into new knowledge base articles: Ask Kai to summarize long Slack threads and save them as new Tettra pages. No more lost conversations!

Tettra's AI bot Kai helps you build your team's knowledge base from the conversations already happening in Slack.

After enabling the Slack integration and selecting Slack channels for the integration, you're now ready to get AI Summaries.

Step 1: The Slack thread

First, find a thread you'd like to summarize, click the three dots on that thread, and then choose "Save summary."

Step 2: Choose the content

If you want to exclude discussion in the thread, and only summarize the original post, choose "Summarize only the selected message."

To ask Kai to summarize the discussion thread for the entire message thread, choose "Summarize the message and include replies."

Step 3: View the Tettra page

Kai will generate a page using AI from the Slack thread. Click on Kai's comment ("This entire thread was summarized and saved to Tettra.") to view the new Tettra page.

You may want to click Edit to make changes, add Verification, or move the page to another category. You can manage this content like any other Tettra page.
