How to Connect Your Slack Workspace and User
Connecting your Slack Workspace and User to Tettra is a two-step process. First, you need to connect your Slack Workspace and then connect your Slack User.
Connect your Slack Workspace
The following video shows the steps you need to go through for connecting your Slack Workspace:
Step 1. Go to Team integrations.
Step 2. Click on Connect your Slack Workspace.
Step 3. Click on Authorize to grant Tettra the required permissions.
If you're part of multiple Slack teams, first choose the correct one from the top-right menu.
Connect your individual email user to Slack
Once you've connected your Workspace, you can connect your Slack User to your Tettra user. Doing so allows you to sign in with Slack and use Tettra's Slack integration features. This process also lets you convert an email user to a Slack User. This is useful if, for instance, a new team member signs up for Tettra before logging into Slack for the first time.
Step 1. Go to My settings.
Step 2. Click on My integrations.
Step 3. Click on Connect your Slack account.
Step 4. Click on Authorize to grant Tettra the required permissions.
- If you're part of multiple Slack teams, first choose the correct one from the top-right menu.
- The Slack User you connect must belong to the same connected Slack Workspace.
After you authorize Slack, you'll see the connected account on My integrations.
